I think it is the fuel filter, does anyone out there know where the filter is located, and how to change it, I think that the gas system is presureized and first needs to be depresureized, can anybody help, or have some other answers for the reason the van is stalling

I have check the code for my check engine light and it says transmission overdrive solenoid circuit malfunction.An open or short circuit problem existsin the transmission overdrive solenoid.

I know there are 2 solenoid next to the valvebody,whick one is for the overdrive?
could there be another problem?

I've got a '01 Dodge Ram 1500 and some leftover money from my income tax return. I've gotten a tune up, oil change, front end alignment, and new tires these last couple days but now I want to spend a bit more on some sort of upgrade. Everything on this truck is stock. I was thinking perhaps a new exhaust system or intake because thats what my friends are telling me but I am clueless as to the benefits of them. I really only want to spend about 300 dollars here (I know, not much, but I am not looking for high performance as its just my daily driver and work truck). So... any recommendations?
