Just bought this van and there is a slight clunking noise in the front end when going over even small bumps and ruts in the road. Is this a known problem in this make, model and year? What could it be?

Codes that came up were P0734, P1781, P0732, P1782, & P0700 how bad is it? It sounds bad, very bad squeel in all gears even park. Wont go into gears. Broke down after about 1-1 1/2 hrs of driving, was going down the hwy and it just didnt want to go anymore, popped out of gear and just crused down the rd. let it sit for about an hr, started it and it drove about 40-50 ft and popped out of gear again??? Had it towed home, hooked it up to the computer and have no clue what the codes mean. The check engine light never came on, why?
Last summer i broke down and hooked it up to the computer and found out that I need to replace the intake speed sensor.
This is a little diffrent. Im very lost and dont want to take it to a shop where i know there gonna charge me over $2000. Is there anyone who can give me ideas? I have the guys to work on it but no chilton book for a few more days. Im a little impatint please help and let me know what you think! Thanks a bunch!

My car is starting to shift very hard (85,000miles). I can get a 92 LeBaron for $500 but not sure if transmission will fit!
Also looking for any advise of how to make it go faster! Have a racing chip, cold air intake, and exhaust any suggestions?
Thnx

I was driving 75 mph down I-40 on Saturday and suddenly, and without warning my car started shimmying and I pulled over, when I tried to get going again, it wouldn't go into gear. It seemed as though it was stuck in neutral, because all it would do is roll...there was a recall on the 2001 Dodge Stratus for this problem, would I be able to take it to any dealer if this is the problem???

I have a 1999 Dodge Intrepid and my car always bottoms out because it is so low to the ground. The bottom bumper hits everything and now it is hanging off. There are only 2 bolts holding it up. one on each side. Do I need to put it back on or can I take it off. Will it hurt my car in any way?

my 2000 dodge intrepid had a problem with the oil light coming on well the day i took it to the mechanic it broke down they told me the oil pump was going out and i didnt have the cash to fix it so i left. The car sounded like a bunch of pots and pans were clanking under the hood and the car shut itself off and it restarted just long enough to move it from the road then it would crank but only go in reverse....it it repairable or is it shot?

Hi,

Being from Sweden, the situation might not be the same to you in the US. However, of all 60's-70's american cars on the used market, the Dodge Dart and Plymouth Valiant is some of the least expensive. I think they look awesome and love their attitude but they are suspiciously inexpensive - why is that?

Do they have a bad reputation, or are they simply really crappy cars? Or did they list a lot cheaper as new cars than other did at the time?

Looking to buy an 07 Dodge Caravan - not sure if having no rear heat will be a problem. Live in Nothern Alberta and have fairly cold winters. Still trying to find out if the Caravans come with rear heat - so far the only ones I have seen with rear heat are Grand Caravans.
