the thermostat gauge on the dash does not work in my blazer. it heats up ok. what is causing it not to work? is it just the gauge or the thermostat itself and how hard is it to fix?

I have a 1991 Chevy Z71, and it acts like neutral in any gear on both the transmission and transfer case. When I begin to switch the transfer case into a gear while the tansmission is in gear it makes a grinding sound until you hold it between the gears for a while or until you put it fully in gear. I think that it wouldn't make a grinding sound if the transmission wasn't spinning so that could mean it's the transfer case. On the other hand, it could be that the transmission is only spinning because it has no load and when you put the transfer case in gear that sound is the sound of the transfer case stopping the transmission. What do you think? (please only answer if you're fairly sure)

does anyone have red-tinted windows on their car? I have a red 86 Camaro and it has red tinted windows and spinners...is that too much? are red tinted windows even legal(in VA)? and are red-tinted windows considered to be cool? I just got the car over the weekend but I haven't drove it yet...my dad gave the car to me, it was just sitting out there with about 7 other old cars....

My death wobble seams to happen when i hit bumps on either side of the truck (but not ones that hit both wheels at once, ie speed bumps) it seems to be a problem between 25 and 45 somthing like that. Any slower or faster i havent had a problem.

I bought this Chevy new in 2000, I use it alot mostly highway miles in the rocky mountain states. I service this vehicle every 3000 miles. Haven't any problems with it yet. Just belt, tire, wiper battery replacements. It just turned over 269,680 miles. How long can this truck be expected to last before it needs a major overhaul.

I'm still getting the same mileage as i did the day i bought it and it doesn't burn any oil it runs great and has plenty of power.

well i hav a 1978 chevy 1/2 ton 4x4.the motor has been changed out for a 305 a long time ago and it has a 4 barrel carb with manuel choke.i kno the older vehicles are hard to start when its freezing outside but ive got it to start before and now it just wont start.im planning on getting all new motor and stuff when i get the money but i need my truck on the road now.are there any inexpensive ways to warm up the engine like overnight or something i could buy thats not expensive?i do not hav a heated garage or any kind of storage for the truck.unfortanatley it has to sit outside.
