Does anyone know at what speed a 1993 Beretta 3.1L V6 with a 3 speed automatic will top out at or govern out at?

I have a 1996 Chevrolet C3500 V-8. My rear axle split...and I was informed that a whole new rear would probably be the best route. I have no clue as to where I might start looking, such as websites, searchtips, etc..... I am in South Texas..Thanks.

the 1993 is a vortec 4.3, and the 1991 is just a normal 4.3

I bought an old truck & the guy said it had a 1982 Chevy Camaro 350 engine in it, but when I go to get parts at my auto store they tell me in 1982 Camaro only came with a 305 engine.
He also told me it had a 400 turbo automatic transmission out of a 1985 Chevy El Camino, but agian my parts store says 1985 El Camino didn,'t come with a 400 turbo trans. So, how can I find out what year & model car both of these came out of? THANKS!

I have a 2000 Chevy Z71. When I crank it up during cold weather, you can hear an almost "sewing machine" sound coming from underneath the truck. The dealer and I first thought is was a noisy fuel pump and changed it. The noise is still there. The sound travels along the underside of the truck, making it hard to pin point. It does not get louder during acceleration and eventually stops after about an hour or so. No noise during warmer weather.

Oil/filter were changed at commercial oil stop. When I start Camaro lite comes on, then I turn car off and back on and lite stays off. Oil stop says they didn't touch any oil sensor but I never had the lite come on before they did the work. I checked my oil level and it's fine. Is it a coincidence the sensor goes out the same time as the oil change occurred?

I want to put a 350 from my 87 chevy into my 82 that has a 250 inline 6 and was wondering if the (column shift)standard trans in the 82 will bolt up to the 350 or will i have to change that to.

yes or no answers please. i can handle the retro stuff.

I have a small block chevy 350 with a turbo 400 transmission sitting in the garage next to an old Hyundai Elantra. Then this idea hit me...bam....what if i put the V8 engine in the Hyundai? Would it fit? Would the local Chevy Motorheads beat me up for abusing one of their engines?
