Does anyone know at what speed a 1993 Beretta 3.1L V6 with a 3 speed automatic will top out at or govern out at?

I had a 95 Beretta that was governed at about 115. It had the 3.1L V6 in it. I don't know the differences between 93 and 95 though. The 3 speed auto was actually common in the Berettas. It was one of the optional transmissions for the 3.1. It can do just as good as the 4 speed auto.

Hmmm... 93 with a 3.1... not used to hearing one of those having just a 3 speed transmission behind it, but its possible. I would guess that the engine management computer will limit the engine near its redline, while any other computer system normally will hold the governer to about 105. Being there is a 3 speed in there, there could be other differences or even absences of equipment that might hinder that limiting, or in a worse case, wont limit your vehicle and probably cause you major trouble in the future.
Good luck.

I wouldn't recommend you try and find out. I doubt chevy could squeeze anymore than 140 horse out of 3.1 liters (sad, I know) in 1993, probably getting to 100 would be an big accomplishment.
