Drive the hell out of it

she needs to drive it occasionally to keep all of the seals lubed. if she dont the seals will dry up and could start leaking, (and a corvette should not leak its fluids), and the gas will get old and can clog the injectors, its just not wise to let cars sit for a long time without driving, Im sure if she dont want to drive it, you would be more than happy to. ha ha

my neighbor has a lime green 74-76 stingray in her garage she drives it maybe twice a year for a few minutes and then it goes right back into the garage

its sharp, a wierd color, but really nice all original and i suspect very low miles

i should take a pic sometime

its a good investment, keep it until its wprth more and more, and then sell eventually, or whatever

good luck

She should at least start it up once a month and maybe drive it up and down the drive way

Well its her "vette" let her do with it what she may! It is good to take it around the block every once and awhile to keep the tires round and everything lubricated and moving freely. This is so the seals and gaskets don't dry up.

at least start the car for 15 minuntes every week, that way seals and the gas dont go bad, and every thing stays in working order for when she wants to drive it.

I think that your friends mom should give the car to her kid to drive!. Having such a fast and flashing car and not giving it to her kid and paying for all the gas, repairs and insurance is child abuse! A kid should get what they want when they want it!
