I recently took up a project helping to restore a 1969 Camaro. The car will actually be participating in a racing circuit, but not some silly drag strip: real racing, with real tight corners and both left and right turns. I know, *gasp*, more than one turn.

Enough with the jokes though. Anyone know of a good place to find parts for this car that would give it a suspension setup worthy of real track car? We've already aquired a LS2 small block that will be mated with a STS Turbo system and a six speed automatic transmission. No retro engine or tranny here, we need fuel economy and oodles of power.

We don't want to put this car to the track and only be able to take the sparse and short straight-aways. I was thinking that maybe we could use the 2007 Corvette Z06 suspension, but how would that work? Are there any shops you all could recommend?

I am wanting to install some flowmasters to my truck and I just want to know if I ever pop in a v-8 will my exhaust still work with it? I have a v-6 right now but will be going up one of these days. I will be getting one pipe done then adding in dual once the money comes around. Will this work? For now I will have one flowmaster put in. Then I will get dual. Then I will try to get a v-8, will the dual flowmasters fit that?

I am looking to purchase a 2005 chevy colorado 5 speed manual, 54,000 miles that i have found close to my house in chicagoland. The asking price was 12,000. i came in yesterday and they said they would drop it down to 10,000 i said i would consider it they called back and i said if you got it down to 8,000 then we might have a deal. i was wondering if this is a descent price, and if anyone has an imput on the chevy colorados, and also if anyone knows the mpg, the engine size is 2.8L I-4cyl.

I bought my 2000 Z28 3 years ago, and It was in Beautiful Shape, both Cosmetically, and Mechanically.

After I tried to Pamper it, I think I am turning Gold into ****, now!! :(

The guy used Regular Pennsoil 10W-30 Motor Oil in it. It ran Great!! I changed it using the same oil. Ran Great!!

Then, I deside to Switch to Synthetic! I thought that would be a Good change, since I want to Keep the Car for a Very Long Time!!

But, NO!! It DIDN'T Sound so great, after the first Synthetic Oil Change!! Now, I burn oil, and have an Engine Knock!! THIS SUCKS!!

What can I do to Fix this?!? WTF?!?

All Master Mechanics out there, PLEASE Help!! <:*)

I own a 2005 Chevy Equinox and recently, a gas attendant broke the gas cap while trying to close it. It took about a week before I could get a new one to replace it and in the mean time, the check engine light came on due to a lack of vacuum pressure. The Light has been on for 1 week now and I know that eventually, it will reset itself but I would rather not wait. Does anyone know a quick way to reset the light that doesn't involve going to the dealer?

We just bought a chevy blazer from this guy for 500 dollars. He said it didn't ren that the guy had done work to the fuel system and had crossed wires somewhere. We figured it would be a steal to buy it for 500 and fix that tiny problem and have a great new truck. well once we got it home itsturned out a bad idea. no wires were crossed. its a 2.8 L TBI. We have gone through and tried to figure out everything. Seems all areas are getting power in the voltage it calls for in the tech book. The gas is getting through everywhere but once it gets to the throttle body its not coming out. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this? My boyfriend just went ahead it put it in the trading post to sell for now cause we are tired of dealing with it. Ang suggestions would be very helpful
