I read the other answers just a Reminder that this Is a BIG BLOCK ENGINE and it does not need to have High RPMs to make Big Power The Pro Charger makes the difference with the lower compression and makes good power on 93+ oct gas. This Engine is a Torque monster

All stock engines from the 305 to the 454 have a stock rating of 200 HP.

This does not mean that you can't get more out of it or that this is the actual HP rating, it just means that the manufacturer rated it as such so as not to incur a "sports car" label by insurance companies or Uncle Sam.

If everything is working in perfect order and there's no super or turbo charger on the vehicle it might get approximately 1 HP for every cubic inch.

However, in a normally aspirated engine there's a little thing called volumetric efficiency. Any engine in any car running full throttle will only have an efficiency rating of 70-80%. Only with a turbo charger or super charger where the air is compressed as it enters the intake manifiold or throttle body can you acheive 100% or higher ratings.

So, one can assume that your add ons have improved the volumetric efficiency to 80% or higher so this might put it in the 400 HP range.

There's also a loss of HP past the engine to the transmission to the driveshaft to the differential gears to the wheels and the accessories eat up HP as well.

Good Luck!

i would guess about 1.3 hp per cubic inch. you're limited by the low compression and oval port heads, and the low duration camshaft and single carb. the plus is the boost, but you do not have the camshaft for a hig revving engine.

I would say your around 500 horses.

The pump gas, heads, and compression are dogging it down.

I would guess it would have about 600 HP.
