fill it up, turn lock to lock approx 5-10 times. recheck and top off as needed. i usually like to recheck after a few miles too.

Turn your steering wheel all the way to the left leave it for an hour then turn it all the way to the right and leave it for an hour
this will let all of the air escape out of the system

i am a 15 year master mechanic that is bored so it is a reliable answer

Fill system to full and then start motor. Recheck and fill to full again. Then slowly turn side to side several times. Keep rechecking the level as you don't want to run it dry. Check it again a couple of days later.
