The length is 6 feet. The width is approximately 50" at the tailgate and 56" at the cab. The bed is not rectangular. It narrows as it gets to the tailgate.

The length of the bed is what gives it a dimension as the width is stock unless it's not a fleet side.

You're either a six footer fleetside or you're a six footer stepside.

have a 1995 GMC and got a real nice application from LEER
fits to cab then tapered to bed and tailgate really helps with the windage when driving. They also custom build to your specs and needs.

Go to a top cap dealer and he will measure it all up and give you a price--but to answer your question--it is 6 feet long and 4 feet wide--or 72x48 inches
