If so, what do you remember about it, or them?

Do you own one or more of these three cars now?

Would you like to?

I once owned a 1964 CORVAIR MONZA, and a 1977 CHEVETTE.

The Corvair was a two speed dash mounted selector automatic with AC, fun and kinda fast for what it was.

The Chevette was a no AC, stripped down model with a 4 speed, slow, high interior noise and rode like a shopping cart.

The Blazer has a new fuel pump, filters, plugs, wires, distributor, coil, ignition module, the whole ball of wax. Once I do get it started it will start all day with no problem until sitting all night. Then it is hard to start again. I have 65 lbs of fuel pressure so it can't be that. I brought it to GM and he put it on the computer and nothing came up. He said let's start replacing parts and see what we come up with. At the money it would cost to find the problem no way.

What I do is when I'm slowing down, I clutch, then put the car in the gear I'm intending to use after I slow or stop and hold the clutch down while I'm waiting or I clutch and put the car in neutral and release the clutch until I'm ready to go. My hubby says I'm riding the clutch. Is this good or bad? I can change gears very smoothly with no problem, but he doesn't like me clutching style. I had to teach myself to drive a standard many years ago and this is only my 2nd standard car. What am I doing wrong? He's a trucker, but I know the clutching is different between an 18 wheeler and a 5 speed. Any advice from you professionals out there to help me settle this dispute and maybe save my clutch and pressure plate and tranny? I'd appreciate only mature answers and none of the I'm too old for this kind of car insults. It's just a car. I love it and don't want to tear it up. My first manual tranny was a Mustang and replaced a clutch with in 3 months. I thank you for helping. God Bless you.

I CANT LOCK OR UNLOCK MY DOOR FROM A DISTANCE LIKE WHEN ITS RAINING. IT WOULD BE NICE TO JUST USE THE KEY CHAIN TO UNLOCK IT BEFORE I GET IN THE CAR.

Hey guys, I just wanted to see what you guys think of this new engine I got. I'm fairly new to the whole engine stuff but heres all the specs we have on it so far.

350 CID, Small Block Chevy

COMP CAMS, Xtreme 4X4 Hydraulic Performance Cam and Lifter Kit

72 CC heads with some porting and polishing with racing valve springs and retainers for the cam

Speed Pro Forged 12 to 1 (with 64 cc heads) compression dome pistons with Speed Pro rings

This engine has about 10.5 to 1 compression with the 72 cc heads (more streetable)

'89 and later style one piece rear main seal block with two piece rear main seal adapter for use of early style crank

Weiand Stealth intake manifold- Horsepower from idle to 6,800 rpm

Cloyes double roller timing chain

Resized rods

Engine is internally balanced with the flexplate and lightweight harmonic balancer that are on it.

Thanks guys!

Ok, as i was coming home wednesday nite, i realized that my compass on my mirrow, wasnt displaying ( 2007 chevy malibu) and so i went to push the mirror button, but instead, i pushed onstar emergency, and of course they ask you what your emergency is, and we told them that we pushed the wrong button, but do they record when you push the emergency button kind of like a 911 hang up?

I have an Engine Knock that has Developed in the Past 10k Mile's, just after changing to Synthetic. I have a Theory that it is the fact that the Synthetic Oil is Thinner, and driving my Camaro Z28 without the Engine Warmed-up with this Thinner Type of Oil (Even though it is 10w-30). I think that 10w-30 Synthetic is more like 5w-30 Regular Motor Oil.

Also, I have noticed that my LS1 burns oil with Synthetic. It Sucks!! I must make it Thicker, somehow!!

So, what can I do to make the Motor Oil Thicker?!?
Is there such thing as 15w-30?!? Or 15w-40 Synthetic?!?

I have tried adding Lucas Oil to the Oil, and it doesn't get rid of the Knocking Sound. I don't believe that the Lucas Oil is Thick Enough.

The Engine knock has gotten worse over time, and louder. It never did this, until After I switched to Synthetic.

I don't want to switch back to Regular Oil, unless its Safe. However, the Engine DID run Quieter with Regular Oil!!

So what should I do?!?
