the car is fine on first using but after 1st mile or so when enrichment programme switches of it badly misfires and shudders but only using low foot throttle pressure [when i put my foot down it is o.k ] it also badly 'pinks] during this problem it sometimes improves as car is fully warmed up[4 or 5 miles] i have changed E.C.U +PLUGS AND LEADS AND AIR FLOW METRE AND TEMP GAUGE AND FUEL FILTER

I think my water pump has crapped out on my 1997 Jeep Cherokee. I have been leaking coolant for a few days now and there is a puddle under my Jeep after I turn it off and my reserve tank keeps emptying out on me. I replaced the lower radiator hose and still the same problem. It is not over heating so I am wondering if it IS a water pump problem? If it is, could I do the work myself?

I am mad as all get out. GM has decided to stop making the Monte Carlo. I have a 2007 SS with the rear wheel drive. I buy a new one yearly. I love these cars. Sometimes I would love to kick this company. If I wanted an Impala I would buy one, but I don't like it. If I wanted a little Malibu I would get one of those, too small. How is it they make a car that anyone can fit into then stop making them for these tiny little cars? Do they think that all people are 5'5? I am 5'11 and I need leg room. These little cars just don't work for me. Honestly, I wish GM would just close their doors. I am thinking they are just stupid. They make some of the dumbest and biggest mistakes. Like CEO's getting million dollar bonuses while the company is in trouble. They are talking of bringing back the El Camino. Eww! Whats up with that? Anyone think they will bring back the Monte like the Camero? Or will it take GM loosing more customers over it or will customers compaining enough to bring it back?

Car and Driver magazine has pictures of the "concept" M3. It looks pretty cool, but it doesn't seem much better than the 335 coupe. I think their 335 with twin turbo is too good for its segment. BMW should make a larger gap between the 335 and M3. What do you think?

I have a 1993 ford thunderbird that has problems heating up. I changed the thermostate and waterpump. Ive burped it to get the air out. What happens is when i first drive it cold it will heat up and then the temp gauge will jump and almost get out of the normal range and the heat inside the car will get cold. sometimes it will get warm for a minute and get cold again. Im lost.

Just recently and it has gotten worse when I go to start my car it makes a loud schreeching noise, not a clicking that you normall would get from a starter. It takes several times of turning it over and just the right touch to get it started. Sometimes it helps if I slowly hit the gas pedal as I'm starting it but I'm worried one day it wont start and the noise is so embrassing when I try to start my car! What is wrong?? Starter? fuel filter? I'm not exactly car savvy! Is it going to be expensive?? Please help!! I have called around for prices of having a new starter installed and everyone says 350 bucks! Is there a cheaper way? No one seems to have rebuilt ones in my town. Could I install it? Where can I get directions?
