Please advise me , what kind of maintinanc I should carry out, and which parts I should replace at first ( I do not have the previous maintinance record ) , also please tell me about this car..Thanks all.

given the year from 1997, it isn't all that high. its somewhere near the value i would expect though. i would naturally presume about 2 to 3 owners before it got to you. for BMW, it is quite good for its motors, so no worries on the engine overhual part.
best is to check its balance, tyres, and steering wheel alignment. until then, no point in wasting all the cash to do unneccessary maintainence.
normal weekly/monthly maintainence just involves checking the lights, brakes etc. and by the way, since the vehicle is already 10 years old, check its engine oil to see if it is of the proper level and quality. if not, that would be the first thing you must change.
capricious creatures of BMW, so its best to use a higher quality engine oil. go to a workshop and do a complete drain of the engine oil and top up with a new bottle of engine oil.
but in my opinion, you should have waiting and bought the BMW 325i instead. much better power throughput and a tad more perks, but since you already got the 320i, its not part of the discussion.

Well it is a high mileage, but all depends on the previous users and how they did all these miles. It's a good car, and requires a fair amount of maintenance given its age.
