I'm curious since the '95 Corolla comes with a simple am/fm stereo. It looks complicated, but I've been told that its possible. I pretty much bought all the parts for it. The starter kit, the stereo, the speakers and so on. I'll appreciate any help. Thanks.

The Alpine S 12" DVC 50-300W RMS comes in 2 ohm and 4 ohm. Someone is selling me one in a box but doesn't know if its the 2 ohm or 4 ohm.
I wanted to get the mono Alpine MRP-M450 amp which is 220 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (400 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms).

Question: I want to run the amp in the at 400 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms and was wondering if I could do this with either the 2 ohm or 4 ohm DVC.

Also, what wiring kit do you recommend for this amp.

I'm having trouble because the cd decks dont match my vechile at all. You see the a/c and heat and radio is on one face plate. so if thats move the others have to get new face plates.. Hondas are easy cars to do that with you can almost do it ur self but with mine its very hard. Is There Anyplace I Can Go That Can Install This At A Reasonable Price.

i just hooked up my car w/ a system, and i kept my factory cd player just cause i liked the way it looked. but i had to buy some converter which converts my factory speaker wires to RCA outputs so i could hook up the amplifier. all my amp wires are secure, but i do not know where to hook up my remote wire. i currently have my remote wire connected straight from the amplifiers remote input to the amplifiers power input. and this is not good cause now my amp stays on 24/7, and i am afraid that it will drain my battery. and i dont think that my cars factory cd player has a remote wire for it. if it does can someone help me figure this out please

I have an old 85 honda prelude and I installed a stereo a friend gave me for free. It worked fine at first, then the CD player stopped working. After that the speakers would occasionally make this loud horrific "hash-buzz" sound if it was turned on too loud. Eventually, whenever I would turn on the stereo it would always make that sound and I would have to turn it off immediately (the sound would still linger for a few minutes). Now when I turn the radio on I can see that it's on but I can't hear anything. What is the problem?

I've read up on my stuff...and the MRD-M605 can do 400w at 4ohms which is ideal for the JL sub. But if anyone out there knows more audio then me, please correct me. For example, should I get an amplifier that does more than the sub to be on the safe side?

I was also wondering if anyone else out there has a W6 and has picked an Alpine amplifier to go with, if so, what have you got?

Thanks...

I recently purchased a 2007 Ford Fusion SEL that has the premium sound system. The stereo has the annoying bass thumping coming from somewhere on many songs. I know a lot of people like this, but it's annoying to me.

I ran through the menu options on the stereo and did not see any options to turn off a whoofer or anything like that. Any suggestions?

I have a 93 civic. the stock harness was ripped out when my cd player was stolen. I am connecting wire to wire on an afermarket aiwa headunit. I am coneccting ground to ground, 12v constant to 12 v constant and 12v acc to 12v acc. Out of the car there is an extra white w blue stripe wire. when i hook up that wire to one of the cars power sources (constant or acc) my car clock illuminates, otherwise, the clock stays really dim. The dilemma is this, now, my radio only works with my headlights illuminated and my car clock will not keep its memory. everytime i restart my vehicle the clock resets to 1:00. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

2 CHANNEL BRIDGEABLE AMPLIFIER
TOTAL POWER OUTPUT 1280WATTS
640WATTS RMS @ 14.5V BRIDGED ON 2 ohms
280WATTS RMS @ 14.5V DRIVEN INTO 1 ohms STEREO(per channel)
160WATTS RMS @ 12.5V DRIVEN INTO 2 ohms STEREO(per channel)
1-ohm OPERATION WITH OUTPUT POWER INCREASE

i wanna use my amp with these two 12" clarion PA12-S subwoofers they are each 300 watts rms and are a single 4 ohm voice coil. on the side of the box they are installed in it has two sets of terminals( two positives & two negatives) so i think there are wired seperately.

Please leave an opinion or recomendation.

I have a XM-2025 car amp lying around, What is the watts on it cant seem to find any info on it? I tried to do a search but some people say its 20watt per channel others say its 25watts.
What i can tell you is that its 2channels and it is bridgeble.

My problem also is that it works fine with 2 X 240watt 6x9's speakers 4ohm. can i bridge a subwoover onto it with the 2 6 x 9's?? 250 watts not sure about the ohm. if not what is an alternative? It keeps cutting out when i add the sub

My sweetheart got me an aftermarket stereo & installed it in my 2003 Honda Civic Lx Coupe. The stereo works fine, however, my taillights, dash light dimmer, alert noise for headlights on or keys in ignition do not work. He thinks it has something to do with one of the relays...is that the problem? & if so, where is it located on my car? I really appreciate any kind of help or advise!
