I personally do, but was wondering what the experience has been with others. I feel like with the sound coming only from the front it isn't as submersive. There isn't that feeling like tou are just surrounded by music, it sounds weak and incomplete to me. Apparently there are a lot of people out there that just don't like rear fill and I just have to ask, why? Another thing I have noticed that you can get from 6x9 coaxials that you cant from 6.5" components is more midbass. I know there are some crazy 6.5" midbass pumpin machines out there, but if your bass is coming from the trunk don't you think it's nice just to have a little thump of midbass between between you and your subs? I think it makes an excellent rolloff from your subs. If you don't care about SQ and you just love the sound of your subs drowning everything else out then you might be satisfied without rear speakers, but for me they really seem to add a very nice sound to my system.
And... your thoughts on this?
