I agree...if you dont have an AUX input on the front of your head unit then the next best way would be to get the cassette adapters that plug into your iPod...i was debating on the both, bought the transmitter for my father in law and the cassette adapter for myself, tested them both out and the cassette adapter sounds a ton better than the FM transmitter...its cheaper and sounds better...what more could you want? :)

What I did was bought an adapter that looks like an cassette tape. It plugs into the earphone jack, pop the tape thingy in, and you have instant iPod music!
