Can you tell us what make/model of tube you have? If it's a type with a built-in amp, the speaker terminals you see might just be high-level inputs.

It sounds like you have a multichannel amplifier. Yes you can hook up other speakers but you want to first check how much power your amplifier puts out. For instance if your amplifier only puts out 500 watts then you only have enough power for your one subwoofer.
