i just bought dual 12' subs, and there is only one hook up for the subs, and there is two subs, and when i get in the car adjust left and right balance it works when i turn to the left but not to the right, but when its centered it looks like both subs are hitting whats worng?

Nothings wrong. Subs don't need to be stereo as BASS is non-directional.

It probably has to do with the amp you're hooked up to. Some 2 channel amps, when wired in bridged mode, will only use the signal coming into the left channel input. This would mean there's no sound when you adjust the balance to the right. If you're using a bridged 2-channel amp to run the sub box, then that's the most likely reason for what's happening. Since the bass is effectively a mono signal in most music, it's not usually a problem. If you're happy with the sound when the balance is centered, I wouldn't worry about it; there's not much you can do about it except use a different amp.

well i have an old version of duals and its the same. i havent tried to do left, or right, but i have mine bridged, and i can see where u are getting the left but not right, as positive is on the left of the amp. but just keep it centered and dont worry about it. i love my duals but am getting some l7's soon :D
