My sweetheart got me an aftermarket stereo & installed it in my 2003 Honda Civic Lx Coupe. The stereo works fine, however, my taillights, dash light dimmer, alert noise for headlights on or keys in ignition do not work. He thinks it has something to do with one of the relays...is that the problem? & if so, where is it located on my car? I really appreciate any kind of help or advise!

Some of those functions were controlled through the factory radio on older models, but not yours. Remove the radio and make sure that the orange wire on the aftermarket plug is insulated. If he didn't use an aftermarket plug, than make sure that the red wire with a black stripe is insulated. This is the illumination wire. If it is insulated, than replace the fuse and you should be fine. If the lights were on during the installation, than it's possible that the illumination wire touched metal thereby grounding out. That would cause the fuse to blow and your lights to stop working. Hope this helps you.

Sounds like he inadvertently blew the tail light (etc.) fuse when he hooked up the stereo. It will be marked as such on the fuse block and may even be marked on the cover. Should be a 15 amp fuse.
