Im a big guy

Ok, I'm selling my 93 saturn to my roommate. He wants to buy this car from me for $800, the problem is its in my Mom's name, I know she has to sign the title and everything and she's on board, that's not what I'm worried about. He wants to put 250-500 down and make payments on the rest, this is fine with me, but I dont want to hand over the title til its paid in full (I've heard a lot of horror stories) but if I let him drive it while he is making payments, and something happens, does the responsibility fall on my Mother even if we take the car off our insurance, also the reg is expired and he's payed me to get the registration renewed before we take it off the insurance, should I just give him the money back, and have him wait til he buys the car to renew it himself, and could he renew it or insure it even if he doesn't have the title in his name, I don't know what to do...he needs a car pronto so i don't want to make him wait to drive it til its all paid for...help!!!!

Here is my problem. I recently had to get another vehicle, for work. Due to past credit problems, charge-offs, and repos I had to go this route. Keeping my job was important to me, so at the time I had no choice. Now my eyes are open to what a ripp-off this is. Completed my downpayment of $800 although I told them I only had $300 to put down, which they accepted. My payments are $169.77 twice a month, for a 2000 Saturn that had 105,000+ miles on it. Will be paying on this car for 3yrs. After finally "really reading" the contract I was all but happy about my choice. How do I get out of this situation legally? Know defaulting will not help my credit situation, but it's already bad. What can I do? Am really in need of some sound advice, cause this is really hurting me financially.

Where and how in Northeastern PA is the best way to advertise and sell? How do I determine a ballpark figure for what it is worth? It is totally stock, top banana yellow with the rally stripes and has been garage kept (with protection from sitting on cement, etc). We are the original owners and the car has approximately 90K miles on it. Thought we would be restoring it after we retired but have decided that isn't where our passion is. We're a little overwhelmed with the Ebay route and just don't know where to go from here. Any ideas from your past experiences in selling a car such as this? Thanks!

I have always driven a sedan but now I'm in the market for a small SUV like the Ford Escape. I've already test driven one but I'm concerned about blind spots and parallel parking. Will it take a lot getting used to driving a SUV if I've always driven a sedan?

I am in the market for kind of a somewhat luxurious sporty vehicle and was looking for some good ideas. I am looking for something 2000 or higher and under 30 grand. I was looking at the Mercedes SLK230 but some have said it is suited for a female but I do not agree. I want something reliable as well. Any help is appreciated!!

My 2006 Subaru Forester has fewer than 500 (yes, five-hundred) miles on it; I bought it new three months ago. I purchased the optional 5-year "advanced vehicle protection" -- a $400 feature that is supposed to protect the exterior and interior from cooties and stuff like that (but, apparently, not rust). Oh, and the car is always garaged.

Of course I'll alert the car dealer, but what is reasonable and realistic for me to expect? I'm plenty disappointed, and I don't want that bitterness to cloud what's realistic. Please advise.

How do car dealers finance you, do they subtract your trade in first and than apply the APR or do they just assume your trade in is your early payment. I want to know how it happens in detail. Thank you.

What is the in-voice not the kelly blue book or the black book the in-voice in other words what the dealer actually pays for the car. Im looking at a 2007 chevy aveo no power windows or power mirrors, alarm system non existant and radio only AM FM. Dealer after 45 minutes of negotiation said he could lower it to $11,000 if I bought it that minute because they have to hit their weekly goal. I told him I have to talk it over with my wife Im not married :)

My car was stolen from me and recovered with no damage except for a completely destroyed interior. Everything from the seats, carpet, dash, etc. needed to be replaced by the insurance company. The cost to do this exceeded that of the car so they in turn totaled it. I decided to by the car back and fix it up on my own. Sounded like a great idea at the time. But now 6 months down the road I want a new car and need to sell this one. This car now has a "rebuilt" title due to the insurance company totaling it and I am finding it very hard to sell because no one will even look at it because it says "salvage." Now I do not want to fraud anyone in any shape, way or form and plan on disclosing the cars history to every potential buyer. I just merely want the title to appear clear so people will at least take a look at a car that has been well taken car of, runs great, never been in a crash and get a reasonable amount for it. Note: title was clear before i
