The new Wagon r is peppy. But Xeta is also not bad. The wagon r is a beauty from outside while Xeta from inside. But as far as Xeta is concerned I dont like the wheel arches. Their clips tend to break very easily and the arches hang. Mileage is also a big question as far as Xeta is concerned. But wagon r LXI is costlier by Rs. 50000 as compared to Xeta GLS. I am so confused. Please help.

hi all,
I reside in Mumbai and looking to buy a new car,
choices with me are Ford Ikon, tata Indigo, Hyundai Accent and Maruti Esteem. however i am not keen on Esteem but would like to have an idea about the other 3 choices. I am looking for a long term perspective (say 5-7 years). Also i am looking for factors like AC, power stearing and space comparisons. Request you all to guide me to choose he best car.
It also came to my mind that if i am left confusing then i opt for Santro.. although it is a lower segment car. but i dont wanna take an risk...

I was looking for Santro and WagonR but confused with milage as these cars having around Rs.4/KM. my average running will be 40 KM/Day. WagonR is available with LPG option also. but it doesn't seem feasible as the filling stations for LPG. So many CNG filling stations are there in delhi. I came to know that there is an option for CNG in Indica (Xeta Dealor fitted). I want to know where i should go for that? and other question is if there is any other car planning to launch CNG option (Company fitted) in near future. So i can plan accordingly.

many thanks in advance

It has several things wrong with it, and I am wanting to ask 500 bucks for it. I want to know what anyone else thinks about the price, if i should still go higher or stay at this price. As far as we can tell its going to need a new trasmission, cat. converter, painted hood, and some more minor things. The car was wrecked two years ago, and I have not had any way to fix any of the problems. Should I sell the car and get what I can? or just hold onto it and use it as a down payment on something else. I really dont want to junk it because its still got some nice things. The seats and frame are in good condition, has nice speakers and factory radio, the lights are all in perfect condition. Even has good tires. Please help me, I know without seeing the car its kinda hard to tell me, but I just want a good bit of advice as best as I can get it.

Thanks Alot!

I gave them a check which was set to go through within 30 days from now, but I canceled it. I didn't take the car off the lot because, I was trying to get insurance. Later on, I realized that it was out of my budget. So, I contacted the manager and told him I couldn't afford it, he said that it was fine, and that they would cancel the transaction. I am also, sending certified letters requesting that they put that in writing. Does any one have any links to Florida law that would help me on auto financing contracts? If so, I would appreciate it greatly.

Thanks

I sold my car through craigslist.com It was a 96 Camry Le with a sunroof, ac, and had 153,000 miles on it. It was well maintained (Original Owner) and had replaced the radiator, and timing belt.

I listed it for sale at $3,750. I got two offers and accepted one from a grad student for $3,600. Now I am wondering if I sold it for....

A. The right price.
B. Too much
C. Too little

i found a 1964.5 mustang, and it needs a lot of work, the seller is the original owner, and he has the original title. it does need a paint job, not many dents/scratches, not much rust, and i think the inside is in fair condition, so im not exactly sure about the inside. he said it cranked 4 years ago(that was the last time he tried), and he asked me to make an offer on it, i am not sure on the engine size or mileage or any of that. every bit of information anybody has will be greatly appriciated. thanks

I am debating between buying a 1970 cougar or 1967 Mustang.
Any opinions as to which one has the better ride and what engine to look for? Also, I know this is probably a silly question, but does anyone have any idea of mpg? Thanks.

Bottom line, I need a car very soon. I couldn't care less about how pretty it is or who I impress. All I want is a car that will get me from point A to point B without trouble and that won't take up a lot of gas, and that will last a few years. I am on a small budget and have the chance to buy an 03 certified Cavalier (44,000 miles) for $9800. Will this car be sufficient for my needs?
