I reside in Mumbai and looking to buy a new car,
choices with me are Ford Ikon, tata Indigo, Hyundai Accent and Maruti Esteem. however i am not keen on Esteem but would like to have an idea about the other 3 choices. I am looking for a long term perspective (say 5-7 years). Also i am looking for factors like AC, power stearing and space comparisons. Request you all to guide me to choose he best car.
It also came to my mind that if i am left confusing then i opt for Santro.. although it is a lower segment car. but i dont wanna take an risk...

i deal in cars and also used new car loans.....as per your choices i think the accent is th e car that will keep you happiest .the esteem offers best value for money nut is now outdated although i love it.the ikon i never liked much as its dependability is doubtful once it ages a bit and spares are expensive.indigo is blowing hot and cold and i think the car is(s) krap.
your other option is a better used car with genuine low miles.

i vote for hyundai accent or ford ikon. both are fabulous.both have all the desirable qualities. space wise indigo is also good.
