anything British would be HMS for His Majesty's Ship, and a German sub would be U or UA or UB for underseebotten....maybe minesweeper?

I don't know, but it sounds Brittish ie..USS: United States Ship. MSS: Her Majesty's State Ship. ??? ...pcr
