It has several things wrong with it, and I am wanting to ask 500 bucks for it. I want to know what anyone else thinks about the price, if i should still go higher or stay at this price. As far as we can tell its going to need a new trasmission, cat. converter, painted hood, and some more minor things. The car was wrecked two years ago, and I have not had any way to fix any of the problems. Should I sell the car and get what I can? or just hold onto it and use it as a down payment on something else. I really dont want to junk it because its still got some nice things. The seats and frame are in good condition, has nice speakers and factory radio, the lights are all in perfect condition. Even has good tires. Please help me, I know without seeing the car its kinda hard to tell me, but I just want a good bit of advice as best as I can get it.

Thanks Alot!

If you're only asking $500 then I'd suggest donating the car. At least this way you can write it off for even more than what the cars even worth. Tax season is just around the corner.

Depending on the dealership they probably won't take the car for a down-payment because its more than 10 years old and have problems. What i would do is take the loss and junk it.
Try to get some money from the junk yard if you can. And move on to a better car.
