The black box which contains flight recordings can not be destroyed when a plane crashes. It has been recovered many times in exremley adverse enviorments as well as surviving the powerful explosion of an aircraft smashing into the ground and burning up. What is this material? Build the plane out of it or anything else that has the potential to blow up or crash!

The world economy runs on cheap transportation. Within a continent, we can replace gas with electricity if we have a good power source. Between continents, we need to fly at jet speeds, or commerce becomes much slower. And that means a power source that is not only portable, but produces a huge amount of thrust to keep a very heavy object in the air. What will replace the portability and explosive power of petroleum-based jet fuel?

I posted a question, "Does anyone have a Cessna they want to give away"
Someone reported me using the "Report Abuse button" I honestly don't know how that offended anyone, but if you have any idea let me know.
And if this offended you, I am so, so sorry to hear that.

I will be “dropping” of a friend in a major us city latter this month. I will have to fly either home or to a family members house. (I do not know yet.) Both home and the family memebers are in a major U.S. City.

I don’t know if I should buy a ticket normally in a few weeks when I find out or wait and by a standby ticket that day. Time is not an issue but i am on a budget!
