I posted a question, "Does anyone have a Cessna they want to give away"
Someone reported me using the "Report Abuse button" I honestly don't know how that offended anyone, but if you have any idea let me know.
And if this offended you, I am so, so sorry to hear that.

The question was meant in fun... I realize that no one actually has a Cessna to give away, gosh, I don't even have a hangar!!
And really why wouldn't I have asked for a DeHaviland Beaver if I was serious, I mean come on!

WAIT WAIT! I'm not asking for one!!! Don't get me wrong again!

Most likely, they reported the question for being "solicitation". Although it was stated as a question, it was really not a question about aircraft per se, it was intended as a way to find someone who is willing to give you a free Cessna.

The intent of Yahoo! Answers is not to work as either a "personals" or "want ads", it is for people to find answer to question regarding things that may be beneficial to others as well.

Personally, if I were to solicit for a free aircraft, I'd be asking for an Extra 300 or a Pitts Special, but that's just my penchant for aerobatics and adrenaline.

PS. No, it wasn't I who reported you, just answering your question.

Cessna cost a lot of money to maintain even it they are used. plus having a plane is a bad idea if you crash the compny will not fix the plans because they it cost less to soak up the lawsuit, thats why has been no engine mods in foreever.

Huh! interesting point. It is likely that people are using the 'report abuse' button needlessly and the system is automated.
