If i just came out the Military as an Aircraft Mechanic with 4 years experience, how much do you think i'll start making at the beginning? (in the civilian world)
And then once i get some experience there, i get my A&P license, then how much i'll start making?

You are in a single engine sea plan flying over the ocean.

Suddenly the engine just stops. You are not out of fuel.

a) What is the first thing you do?
b) How does the ignition on a plane typically work? Is there a button. Can you start up on the fly? Is there a clutch or anything you would worry about like in a car?
b) Is it not that big a deal because it’s a sea plane, you are over water and you can glide in.? Or are you in deep trouble.
c) What mistake could you easily make to exacerbate the problem into something really scary? (This is for a screen play if you haven’t guessed, so drama rules over plausibility so long as most people will believe it could happen.)

I am joining the Navy for 4 years. I wanna know if a Jet Mechanic is a good career? Can any Jet Mechanics tell me how cool the Job is?
Here in Los Angeles the median wage is $81,000 a year. I'm not kidding, i saw it in a website.

Anyways, will i need an A&P license or something?

Imagine a plane is sat on the beginning of a massive conveyor belt/travelator type arrangement, as wide and as long as a runway, and intends to take off. The conveyer belt is designed to exactly match the speed of the wheels at any given time, moving in the opposite direction of rotation.
There is no wind.
Can the plane take off?

I saw one once that had a Chevrolet V-8 for a powerplant. It was quite authentic looking except that it was small. Where do you find such kits?
