I can find all kinds of subscription magazines on fixed wing aircraft but I can't find any on helicopters.HELP

Question

I've looked through the magazine stands & bookstores but I've had
no successs. Anyones help would be greatly appreciated a bunch.

As already mentioned, Rotor & Wing is the one that's been around for awhile. They have generally taken the interest in what the companies, the military and the police are doing. You can get a free subscription here:

In the past few years some very interesting new heli-mags have popped up whose topics have focused more on the civilian sector. High-quality full-page photos accompany the articles. Two of these new magazines are "Heli-Ops" and "Vertical". I would highly suggest either of them.

Other magazines of lesser interest include "Rotor", which is the official magazine of HAI (Helicopter Association International) and serves mainly as a sounding board for their issues. HAI is a representative organization, a lobby really, for the large owners to fight requlation, oversight, etc. The magazine is not very interesting at all.

Autorotate magazine is the official publication of the PHPA (Professional Helicopter Pilots Association), which comprises OPEIU locals 107, 108 and 109 as well as other interested industry members. subscription comes with membership ($60) and is open to anyone. It's a small magazine.

Aviation International News has a pretty decent section on Rotorcraft also. I believe you can get a free subscription from them too.

Shephard Press used to publish a pretty good civilian mag, but only publish a military one now.
