4 months ago I had a friend give me NGK irdium IX spark plugs for 20$ for my 98 ford escort zx2. Recently I took it to a ford dealership to get a headlight fixed and they went through my engine without my consent, changing my plugs. They said that they ruin the engine and it will cost alot of money to get it fixed blah blah blah... I really miss the old plugs, is it true that they hurt the engine???

I GOT 6 POINTS FOR NO LISCENSE AND NO INSURANCE AS A PROVISIONAL DRIVER. I THOUGHT BECAUSE MY FRIEND HAD A LICENSE AND INSURANCE HE COULD LEARN ME WHICCH WAS NOT THE CASE. There is a noise in my eclipse. It comes from my motor and it kind of sounds like a big chain dragging the ground. Someone told me that it could be a lifter...Could that be it and if not what else could it be??? should I be concerned???

Old towns are often filled with one way streets. I don't understand why they couldn't make streets that go both directions. It seems like a waste of space not to mention a headache if you miss your turn and have to drive all the way around to find a street that goes the opposite direction.

My sister owns a 9 year old nissan micra but lately has had some trouble with it breaking down.

Nissan say to repair will cost twice as much as what she payed for the car in the first place.

Because it keeps breaking down she can't sell it and will struggle to find a good price for another car.

what would you do?

Buy another car or repair it?

I am constantly filling the radiator with fluid. I think there is an internal leak due to white smoke from the exhaust and it kind of smells like burning coolant. I took it to a mechanic a few months ago and he put in a new thermostat. It ran well for about a month, but it's constantly overheating. When it first started, as long as the engine was reving (apprx 3000 rpm) the temp gauge would drop down to about 150. When I would let up, it would go up to 260.

To set traffic lights to turn red/green at different times depending on the time of day?

So that say from 7-9am one lane's traffic lights are green and all the others are red. But after 9am its how it usually is (a big pain in the *** which causes major traffic in the morning)

I can't see the spark plug, not room, it is in the back of the motor, also I can't touch it. Thanks for any help in this matter.

It happens when i come to stop at a light or after i stop (for gas) and crusing down the highway it starts to cut off and i have to restart on road.
i know it is some sensor because i replaced: fuel pump-It was going bad as it turned out (no fuel pressure - not up to spec), TPS, Ign Coil, Coil, Idle Air Cntrol, rotor/distbtr, plug wires and air filter. It runs much better as these did need changing but, it still stalls. Seems to be no way to predict conditions that occur to cause the engine shutdown. I noticed the lights did go out once when it was about to stall.

I dont have enough $ to replace all the sensors and / or the EMT computer (unless you know that is what is wrong).
The van usually starts back up but sometimes with difficulty. Must turn off the key and try again to get it started. Otherwise, if I start cranking it then it doesnt fire up.

Who knows this problem or has anyone who had the same problem fixed it?

I can hear water running underneath the passenger side dash and up to a week ago I had heat and the temp gauge worked fine. Yesterday the radiator was bone dry as well as the reserve and I have had no heat for about four days now. dont know werther its the thermostat or the heater core? any suggestions?

Some of the tunnels are over a hundred years old now. How long will it be before they have to close down the entire Northern Line? Some of those tunnels are a hundred and seventeen years old. They can't last forever. How long before we see the closure of these lines for major reconstruction? Or will they just leave it to rot until something horrendous happens?

I have a 35O Chevy with stock heads, I have forged pistons 10-1, a Competition 280 Magnum hydralic cam and a 750 Mechanical Holley built by PC Carbs on top of LT 1 manifold. So nothing really special. I need more horsepower and I thought the engine would probably wake up with a nice set of new aluminum heads. The question is "There is all different combustion chamber sizes out there and I need to know what produces more horspower? Smaller or bigger? If you understand all this, can you tell me about sizes in layman's terms and can you tell me what would give me the biggest bang for my buck and still keep the engine streetable? I figured that I would probably need to change the cast iron manifold and I was thinking an Air Gap would be a good choice. Am I going in the right direction for a decent horsepower increase? I know I have many questiions in all this. I hope I supplied all the data needed to answer the questions. I am very appreciative to those who give me advice - Thank you!

My friend's father went to market in one evening, not returned home until night. Feared family members gone on search found him near the railway trak unconciously. He has to cross the trak to the market. he is having some hearing problem. A man came running and said that the lying man tried to cross the line whereas the train moved fast and he was not hit by the train. how he failed to notice atleast whistle sound for which they say he is having some hearing problem. ok.. The man was not hit by the train. no injury in his body. Then how is it possible to fell unconcious? i asked my friend how could it be for which he says ''when train passes fast and anyone stands nearby will fall and more possibilities are there even to pull them, since fast moving trains will grab the air'' is it true that standing nearby the trak while fast moving trains passes.? answer.
