buy another car ,if you take some time to notice whats being driven on the roads of Britain today you will notice that over 90% of cars are under three years old .meaning that second hand cars are becoming cheaper and more reliable so if your lucky you could pick up a 8 year old car for around 500quid which would last a couple of years, about 20 a month ,better than a loan for a new car 250 a month!

Firstly ask somebody other than a Nissan dealer how much it will be to repair main dealers are normally more expensive.
Then if it still cost to much then you have little choice but to buy a new car....sorry

Never take your car to a dealer to get if fixed I would suggest a local mechanic they will be able to cut cost by using after market parts, used parts and they don't pay all that overhead (which they charge you for in the costs) of keeping a beautiful dealership open. Try your local BBB to see which local shops are reputable.

A car that is running is always worth more than one that isn't.. You aren't specific enough about what is wrong with the car.. guessing that it has overheated and blown the head gasket. If this is so, an independent can repair it for less than $700.

Sell it to a man who owns a garage. Then buy a new car. Repairing it will be silly.

It all really depends on what all is wrong with it.
I would recommend taking the vehicle to an independant reputable repair shop for a second opinion!!

Repair it. Do you know why it's costing you twice as much to fix it? BECAUSE YOU TOOK IT TO A DEALER! find a private mechanic, they are all over nowdays.
