when i take my foot off the accelerator and press the clutch it stalls. it is a car built in 1985 and it has a manual choke.

I start it up and it starts with no problem. Then the engine revs like normal then the dial goes down and it has stalled like once or twice. What is this? How can I fix this?

Any suggestions??

btw my car is a 2002 Nissan Altima 3.5 if that matters

hi , i was taking my battery out to of my seat ibiza to re charge it but like a fool dropped the battery cracked the top causing leakage. i think its only the water? can i still use this battery or would it be better to buy one?

I have a 2001 lexus rx300, that looks exactly like this:

It had that same really cool metallic green tint, and you couldnt see into the rear windows. But 2 days ago, I went out to my car and my tint was just this light brown color, and I can see right through it. Im so sad, why did that happen?

I take good care of my car, and it looked amazing until this. Could a change in wheather cause this? I just cant believe it disapeared over night

Has anyone bought or used one of the motorcycle repair lifts sold by Harbor Freight and Pep Boys? They're about 300 bucks and are rated at 1,000 lbs. Seems like a good deal, but I'd hate to buy one and find out they're junk. Thanks! K ;o)

Took my new Kawasaki Nomad in to dealer for 600-mile required checkup. When I got it back I took a ride to Oklahoma city and back. (300+ miles) Next morning I notice grease all over the back end. Upon inspection, which requires removing the left saddlebag, I find the mechanic failed to tighten the filler cap on the final drive unit. I could turn it with my fingers. Had this popped out and coated the rear wheel with slime, it could have caused "catastrophic traction loss" (spilling my guts on the freeway). Also, I managed to drop one of the saddlebags on the garage floor, therefore, I won't have to worry about that first scratch anymore.
In my opinion, letting work like this outta the shop is inexcusable... what's your take on this?

i had the alternater tesed and the batteries checked. The alternater was good and the batteries where dead. I replaced the batteries and the light is still on. Can someone tell me what is goin on?

final true value after negotiating a car's price? Is the Edmunds true value supposed to be the true value after negotiating/making the final decision? If the car i'm thinking about has a huge gash in the door from another person opening their car door on it, and 2 dents on the other side, could this take the cars rating down from excellent to good? The gash doesn't effect my driving/safety at all, but it is still pretty huge, and I might want to have the door replaced. Thank you very much for your time!!

1) Does on board computer have a registry or contain a file(s) that keep the history of programming changes, so that if the software was altered and then returned back to its original state that this could be deleted by diagnostic equipment?

I noticed at the Honolulu airport that were many small planes and mid size airliners. On the map, HI seems far away from any other land mass so how would a CRJ or other regional jet be delivered there? Their max range is less than the distance between CA and HI. Is there a typical route they would fly to refuel?

On the Chrysler '96 LHS, when I go to turn the sprockets to set timing (water pump change) (told by auto parts store, goes counter clockwise) they bounce back to original position. I put the car in neutral. I suspect I have to release fuel pressure? If I do I am having an issue locating it and how much fuel comes out?

Where can i find Wiring diagrams for my Chevy HHR? I'm looking for FREE wiring diagrams. I know alldata has them for 29.95, but there has to be a place that has them for free? I know they are in the auto stores in the manuals they sell, but i'm not sure they make one for my car yet, haven't checked into that yet, and probably will tonight.

does anybody know where i can find OEM fog lights for my Chevy HHR 2007? I'm looking for a perfect fit and the real deal switch that is meant for my car, not the aftermarket? Chevy told me you can't get this, but i find that really hard to believe?
