Did you drop it on your head ? it's knackered m8, the damaged cell will not hold a charge and hence will drain the rest of your battery.

We own a 2002 Chrysler minivan and have put 3 Walmart batteries in the vehicle in the past 14 months. The batteries will work for a while and stop starting the van. We can jump start the van and it will run fine---have had the electrical checked 3 times and it is charging properly. When you take the battery back to Walmart they advised that the battery shows GOOD by their machine even after the dealer shows the battery is BAD and needs to be replaced. Come to find out the last time last week when the Walmart battery quit again they were putting in the wrong size and it was burning out after about4-6 months of use.

Nope.
.
That is sulfuric acid, not water leaking from the battery. Bring the battery in to have it recycled.
Don't let the acid get on you or anything else important.
Cleanup the spilled acid with a mixture of baking soda and water. About 1 cup per gallon. This will neutralize the acid.

If the battery is cracked only on the top, then I would recommend using an epoxy two part resin. You can get this from Halfods and is dead easy to use.
If however the crack is on the side, I would get another battery as battery acid is highly corrosive and will ruin the paint on your car.

For the love of God, get away from that battery.
It is NOT water leaking from it but it is ACID.
You know the corrosive stuff that will scar you for life if it gets onto your skin.
Get yourself a new battery pretty damn quick because it will eat your vehicle away if you use a leaking battery and may well cause a fire with you in it.
RED ALERT, RED ALERT, RED ALERT.

Get a new one. I wouldn't trust one that was leaking. Besides the water will mix with the acid and leak on other car parts.

the "water" leaking out is sulphuric acid. This will eat holes in your car (and in you). Get a new battery and handle it carefully.
