Check engine light keeps coming on after I reset code. Can not find any canisters under hood as my book says to service. Gas tank seems to be forming a vacuum when I open filler cap. Where should I look next?

I have a 2000 Kawasaki ZXi 1100 that I didn't remove the fuel from last Fall like I should have. Now it won't start. I put stabilizer in it in November, but by then it already wouldn't start and I don't think what I put in the tank was able to work it's way through to the carbs. Does anyone know what is involved in getting it to run again? Also, if I drain ther old gas, what can I do with it to get rid of the fuel? Thanks for your help.

I have never bought a new car or motorcycle. But I want to buy a new Ninja 250. I went to American Auto Sports and saw one on the show room floor. The sales guy said it is $2999.00. I said great I will take it.

I know there is Tax, Tag, and Title fees. So I figured that the total price might be up to $3500. But no... he brought me back a quote of $4303. I said what is this? He said Tax, Tag, Title and Destination fee's. Tax is about $300 (expected) and Tag and title is about $200. I asked him why the hell is there so much more in that equation, and he said there is a shipping fee to get it to the store. Well I walked out. He tried to stop me and said he could negotiate to about $3800. I still said no.

My question. Is this a typical final price for a band new bike, whose MSRP is $2999.00? My goodness, with all the extra fat, that is about half of the price of the bike.

It used to be when two biker passed each other, each one would wave at the other. I ride a Harley and an R1. When i am riding my Harley, only Harley riders wave and thats only sometimes. Sportbikers don't. When I am riding my R1, only Sportbikers wave. Why is this? Can't we all just get along. We are all riders. I do live in Los Angeles so that might have some bearing on why people don't wave.

I recently purchased an 88 Deville which was driven very little if at all for the 4 years prior to it coming home with me. It has 164K miles.

Electrical prolems are the radio antenna doesn't go down (in perpetual "up" position). The horn doesn't work. The glove-box trunk lock release button didn't work, but miraculously does now. (???)

The biggie is the Air Conditioning, which worked just fine when I got the car, blowing out nice cold air and keeping the car to the desired temp.. I turned it on and used it several times in the first few days, then the service AC light came on. It will operate on ECON, but blows out air that is only slightly cool. If AUTO is pressed, the digital display flashed "AUTO" then immediately goes back to "ECON" display characters. The temp. characters still change. The service AC light comes on immediately when the auto button is pressed, then the light goes out after a few minutes.

Do I have a basket case, or are these problems interrelated? Help?

Its a 1999 Kawasaki 250, its got 7900 miles on it. Hasn't really been riden in 2 years but is started randomly and rode a bit to keep it going. Only cosmetic issue is a small dent near gas tank. Nothing mechanically wrong with it. I offered $1,300. What do you guys think?

How hard would it be to replace a water pump in a 2004 jeep liberty sport? When the car is started it makes noises and if you look closely the water pump is moving a bit in and out would that indicate that it is the water pump and if so. What would be the process of getting this fixed? how hard would it be? and how time consuming? I have a warrenty, but it has a 250 deductible and the part in only $50 so would it be better for me to fix or to take to a shop?

I recently bought a second hand Vauxhall Corsa and after a long drive of around 200 miles, the car developed a problem and shuddered to a halt. All the oil had drained and it looked on closer inspection to have drained from a small brass-ringed hole at the bottom right hand side of the oil tank (not the sump), near the oil filter. Having looked at a neighbour's M-reg Corsa it looks like what's missing is a transparent 'plug'...

Until I can ascertain WHAT is actually missing or get it towed to a garage (limited as I work shifts) and have a professional (expensive) look at it i'm gonna just have a lump of metal at the end of my drive...
