These can be horribly complex and time-consuming claims to make. Let me suggest the following. I hope you have insurance, including collision coverage.

If Goodyear voluntarily pays for your accident I would be surprised. I have had claims against them in the past and they did not admit to any wrongdoing.

If you have collision coverage have your company handle the repairs. This will save you much time and stress. Sure you have to pay a deductible, but consider it a convenience fee and your company will fight to get it back for you. Make sure to tell your company about Goodyear's "repairs." After they pay you they will go after Goodyear for reimbursement of the repairs they paid for plus your deductible.

Your company will probably need to have an expert mechanic or engineer investigate to see if there is anyway to prove that Goodyear screwed up. Sometimes it can be proved other times it can't. They will have to find some kind of physical evidence in order to make a claim against Goodyear stick.

If you don't have collision coverage then you will have to fight Goodyear on your own and you will be out-gunned and have a very low probability of success, unless they voluntairly agree to pay.

Good luck.

If the accident happened within a reasonable time from the brake job, then you certainly have a case. I had a similar situation happen, they hadn't tightened the lug nuts and the wheel began to wobble off as I backed out of the garage, they caught their mistake, lucky for us all.

Maybe, it really depends on exactly what you are talking about. What screw caused you to have an accident, and how did it cause it? Unless you can prove they did something wrong, you don't have any claim against them.

Yes, they are at fault. Call them or go up there and tell them what happened. But you got to have evidence, you should have taken pictures and you best bet was to have the car towed up to the shop. Well if you haven't done any of the above, then call them and tell them to see your cars damage, even if its at another shop. They will assess the damage and determine if they are at fault If they deny then get a lawyer.

I will guess that you have insurance. They will be happy to not have to pay. You could talk to a claims rep. They might do the work for you.
