Can I plug a powerstrip into a car through a 140 Watt inverter without blowing a fuse?

You can probably run a computer and a couple of cell phones on it, but no power tools. It will go into overload and shut off. Like the man said do the math. I use one whenever I travel and plug in several items. Make sure it's a short power strip.

Not to sure about running a computer off of that size inverter. I have had to go with at least 400 watts for computers because they make the small ones trip constantly.

Watts divided by volts = amps.
Do the math.
