OK, granted, my car is old and tired. You might even say geriatric. It is a well worn 95 Pontiac Sunfire GT.

Yesterday I was running on empty. I have been for a couple days now (work is only 1.5 miles from home), but yesterday was the first day the "check gauges" light came on.

I had a little work to do before I could buy gas (go get my deposits back on $12 worth of Diet Coke cans) so I drove down to the market to do that. My needle stayed below empty.

Then when I got back in the car to drive to the gas station, it said 1/4 tank. I wasn't on a hill or anything.

This is where it gets weird. I started driving to the gas station, about three miles away. Over the eight or nine minues it took me to go those 3 miles, my needle climbed very steadily to full and past! It said it had a totally full tank! This is BEFORE I put my $12 of gas in!!!

After I pumped the four and some-odd gallons, it read fine, and has since. What gives?

It is a optional 4-wheel drive, and it stops shimmying when I let off of the gas. I haven't had any other major problems with it other than when it is in 4-wheel, it is hard to make turns and it seems to lock up a bit when I try to park it.

Thanks.. i just need alot of opinions and things i should know before i go and spend money to get one.. i plan on getting a older model in the 90's prolly between 95 and 99.. i want to add things to it like body kit..neon..tint..exuast system...and some other stuff and i wanna know what you think of these cars either if you have one or know someone that does or just your personal opinion. thanksss. i heard that 2 years dont have Mitsubishi motors in them they have Chrsyler Motors.. thats kind weird i wanna watch out for that cause i like speed. haha and i will prolly get a GSX or w/e its called so i can have the turbo charged motor.. it would be cool if i could buy one with custom stuff already done to it but we'll see.

I HAVE A 1994 CHEVY ASTRO V-6 ENGINE. THE MUFFLER WAS BAD SO I CHANGED EVERYTHING FROM THE CONVERTER BACK. IT RAN OK FOR A DAY OR TWO, BUT I COULD TELL IT WAS RUNNING RICH. ASKING AROUND SOMEONE SAID THAT THE CONVERTER COULD BE CLOGGED. THE VAN SET FOR ABOUT TWO WEEKS, THEN IT WOULD CRANK BUT WOULD NOT START. I DISCONNECTED THE CONVERTER AT THE MANIFOLDS AND TRIED TO START IT. I COULD SEE IT WAS GETTING GAS IN THE CARB., AND I HAD SPARK ON THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR PLUG. I ALSO DISCONNECTED THE FUEL INJECTORS, THINKING IT MAY BE FLOODED. AT THAT TIME I SPRAYED STARTING FLUID IN THE CARB AND IT SPUTTERED ALITTLE. I CONNECTED THE INJECTORS BACK UP AND AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPS IT STARTED BUT I COULD TELL IT WAS NOT RUNNING ON ALL SIX CYLINDERS. I SHUT IT OFF AND GOT UNDERNEATH, UPON LOOKING AT THE EXHAUST MAINFOLDS. THE RIGHT SIDE (PASS) WAS LEAKING RAW GAS AND WAS COLD. THE LEFT SIDE (DRIVERS) WAS HOT. I'M AT A LOSS NOW DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO NEXT.

When I start on first gear, accelerate and then let the clutch go, everything seems to be fine. My truck starts driving and suddenly after about 2 seconds, the truck reacts violently and wants to stall (sort of the what happens when you release the clutch to fast). What is the problem? Transmission? Clutch? I sure hope it's clutch and not transmission.

I have a 1992 buick lesabre with the dynaride system in it. I have had no problems with it recently, ran fine, my anti lock brake light and security light had come on but was running fine came home from work shut the car off and went outside the next night to go to work and won't start. The radio and lights all come on. But my brake pedal is very hard to push it seems like it is locked up. Could this be the starter or an electrical problem or something to do with the anti lock brake system?

If some one does not have a ticket they get a fine, no questions asked. We have to put up with continual delays and cancellations. I was late for a job interview and looked like a real pratt because of a signal failure and got there late. There must be a way of getting refunds for this sort of thing, we pay good money to use a poor service. Even so called third world countries have better service, here as soon as you owe money they are onto you, ask for a service and you get minimall

Should I seal this or port it? Is a 10 more accurate than a 12 enough to port it and it will still sound tight and accurate? Or am I still better off going sealed. I get turned off by the sloppy and unnecessary low notes that block out the sound of my mids.
