Thanks.. i just need alot of opinions and things i should know before i go and spend money to get one.. i plan on getting a older model in the 90's prolly between 95 and 99.. i want to add things to it like body kit..neon..tint..exuast system...and some other stuff and i wanna know what you think of these cars either if you have one or know someone that does or just your personal opinion. thanksss. i heard that 2 years dont have Mitsubishi motors in them they have Chrsyler Motors.. thats kind weird i wanna watch out for that cause i like speed. haha and i will prolly get a GSX or w/e its called so i can have the turbo charged motor.. it would be cool if i could buy one with custom stuff already done to it but we'll see.

just my thoughts ,but i wouldnt buy a car with all the mods. and upgrades..it is better to do them yourself..im working on mine myself..so i know whats done to it...if you buy one with all the mods done and upgrades, the person who had it b4 prob. drove the hell out of it.....the best way to go is to do it all yourself....good luck with the car......

The 1Gs are the better ones. The 2Gs have the neon motor in them unless you get a turbo car, then it has the 7 bolt 4G63 (which is prone to crankwalk). I have a GSX and a Laser RS AWD, both 1Gs. I can also tell you, if you want speed, you won't want the weight of a hideous body kit or neon lights. There are a lot of aftermarket vendor out there to modify these cars, but if you want a fast one, avoid the N/A cars.

Just a word of caution.. a car that old with a turbo motor will probbaly not be in the best of shape and if you want to modify it to make more power, prepare to spend several thousand dollars getting it up to par so that it will tolerate more boost.

I personally am not to fond of the car but if i were to get one, the gsx would be the way to go, anything less is just a front wheel drive wanna be sports car.
