people driving on a two lane road use the oncoming traffic lane as a turn lane? Or is this a Georgia thing?

We were driving to my in-law's house yesterday afternoon, and there was a car in front of us. It was going 45 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone and I was already annoyed with them because the road is curvey and it is hard to pass on it because there is a double yellow line on most of it. (Another of my peeves, people pass on this road all the time even though they have no idea if the lane is clear or not) At one point, they put on their blinker, moved over into the oncoming traffic lane, and proceeded to drive in it for an eighth of a mile before making a left hand turn. IDIOTS!

Another of my driving peeves - people who stop at the top of on-ramps on freeways, expressways and interstates to see if there is any traffic coming instead of trying to merge with the traffic at a respectable speed.

I hate driving.

I own a Volkswagen chico and I have trouble explaining to the service mechanics what needs to be done. You always have to be specific with them and seeing as I am a girl, I have absolutely no idea what needs to be done on a service. So please, can anyone tell me what needs to be checked, repaired, changed, etc when it comes to a major service?

I saw a car that had clearly been wired up wrong. The orange side lights were permently on and the side red warning/break light flashed when it indicated to turn left.

I'm separated from my husband. I have a car worth $6000. He has a leased car worth $10,000, but the lease is $15,000. He claims I owe him $3000 (half for my car) but what about his car? Does he not owe me because it's a lease? How does this work?

I have seen a few out on the road and I can't help but look in horror as some poor little kid (usually under 6) hangs on to this one wheeled contraption that wobbles about behind a totally oblivious adult as they weave in and out of the rush hour traffic. Is it just me or are they putting their littles'un at risk!

For those who don't know what I'm on about look at this link.
