Does anybody know of a good MOT test centre in or around the N10 area of London that will offer a free retest within 14 days if the car fails first time? I've found a few that offer 7 days but have been assured that there are many out there who offer a full 2 weeks (which will probably be needed, if it fails!) Thanks for your help, everyone.

I have driven trucks professionally and been required to have a CDL, but some of these RV's are as big or bigger than some trucks I used to drive. And behind the wheel is joe geriatric trying to park the thing at the gas station while towing his SUV behind him. An accident waiting to happen.

I've been working on a 1993 Plymouth Acclaim as a demo car for the derby this saturday. It ran when i started a few weeks ago. Monday everything was hooked up inside the car (battery & gas tank, etc..) and it would start for a second and die right away. I thought maybe the gas was bad, so I switched and the car did the same thing. The next morning I couldn't even get a click out of the starter, but there was power going to it, and I tried several different batteries. Any ideas on how to fix it? My friend mentioned something about safety switches??

this morning my girlfriend went to obtain her license, when she got there she aced the written test. She heard about a very rude man that works there that discriminates on peoples age with the actual driving test. She has heard this from friends. My girlfriend is a younger woman (18) When he got in the car with her he immidiately started to give her a rude and unecessary attitude towards her due to a small crack in the windsheild of her car. at the end of the test he failed her saying that she failed to put her blinker on to make a right turn at 100 feet away, even though he told her to turn at the very last minute. He was extremely mean to her and even yelled at her. She even told me before he took her that the guy before her failed and he was laughing about failing the guy. From what she has also heard, she is not the only one this has happened to. She came home literally in tears, not so much that she couldnt get her license, but because of how mean he was to her.

I was driving my car and started hearing a clicking noise. I noticed when I hit the excellerator it got worse when i took my foot off it went away. I got to the nearest red light when it died out. It started steaming pretty bad. Well after the cop pulled up he had me go get a bucket of water from gas station and pour it in. that made steam come out worse. The cop told me try to start the car again I did and he said it has no compression. My husband finally got there and saw that a hose blew. He said it must have overheated and no light showed me and that hose blew. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be?
