I have driven trucks professionally and been required to have a CDL, but some of these RV's are as big or bigger than some trucks I used to drive. And behind the wheel is joe geriatric trying to park the thing at the gas station while towing his SUV behind him. An accident waiting to happen.

I totaly agree with you... i drive school bus and am required to have a CDL with the proper endorsements... ive seen RV's longer than my 72 passenger bus... i think before they are allowed to drive em off the lot, they should have to go thru at least an 8 hour course so they can learn how to turn the dern things let alone park them... they have no clue what they are doing and half of them are probably too old to drive anyway .... at any rate a special endorsement or something would be ideal for the safety of all of us

No. It would be a good idea to take the prospective owner/renter to a special driving area for some behind the wheel practice before letting them take the vehicle from the lot. Your special license argument could also be used for renting moving trucks/trailers. I definitely agree with you that it is an accident waiting to happen.
