My brother and I bought 2 brand new Suzukis for a summer motorcycle vacation. I got a 1400 Intruder and he got a 1200 Bandit, they cost $15,000.
The Bandit leaked gas and filled the motor with gas before 2000 miles and ruined the motor. Suzuki messed around all summer with us telling them our vacation being ruined and we were loseing a ton of money. They could care less, we asked them to just swap out the motor, oh but they couldn't do that, it would cost $3,000 bucks to do that. Well they spent all summer and $3,700 bucks to rebuild the ruined motor.
The gas stained cases were not replaced nor were the burnt exhaust pipes, the bike was apart for so long it got nicked and scratched all over. The bike when fixed looked like crap and ran worse.
When Suzuki of Am Fd up we even called Japan nothing did any good. BUY a Suzuki and get screwed like we did!!!

When shut, the trunk lid produces a lot of rattling coming from around the keyhole area. Everything is tightened as it should be. Should I sound deaden (Dynamat, Second Skin, etc) the trunk lid?

If you apply pressure downwards on the shut trunk lid, the rattling seems to stop, as if the trunk lid doesn't shut all the way which is why it produces the rattling.

Any other suggestions?

I own a 92 Toyota Previa (van)...and I know it makes it easier on the van when Im going at a high speed (past 50mph) but I was wondering if anyone could explain it to me. is it bad to have on when going up and down hills? is it designed only for driving in flat areas? Do you have to turn it off when driving on streets?

thanks

My husband is a truck driver & sometimes needs to know the shortest route from point to point, driving distance (miles) & time required for the trip. We have Rand McNally Trip maker but it doesnt show the more local / county roads. We need something that will allow us to change the routing of the trip.

When it comes to cars, guys know their stuff. So here is my question--which would you prefer, if you could buy any car (within reason) on the market (I'm talking under 30 grand) would you prefer a foreign or domestic car?
(I do realize lots of foreign cars area basically 'domestic' these days---Toyota being one of them)
If you want, tell me specifically what car you would like and what you know about it.
