If your 18 and you are going to take the driving test at the DMV, do you need to take a licensed adult with you?

You need to have a car there to take the test. The only way you can legally get that car there is to have a licensed driver with you!

I think if you have to take a road test they want to make sure the car was driven to the DMV by a licensed driver.

Yes, to drive you there. You wouldn't want to get a ticket for driving without a license. It could prevent you from getting it.
