I have driven all three... and Nissan is my over all favorite.
There are more Fords I hated when I drove them than I liked....
..loved the 65 mustang and the 86 mustang GT, the 96 probe wasn't bad, the 83 F-150 was cool. Hated the Taurus (many years) the Contour, the Econoline van, and the Windstar.
I had to Chevy Celebrities that I *loved*, put tons of miles on them both, and the trucks I drove rode really nice, Despised the Cavalier and have been disappointed in the quality of Chevy vehicles, especially the Tahoe.
I have never driven a Nissan I didn't love, and I have driven everything they have made in the last 3 years except the 350Z.
I currently have an 05 Altima and hubby has an 03 Frontier.
I learned how to drive on a 1970-something Datsun B210 GX and drove the wheels off an 1980-something Pulsar.

I would say Chevy all the way. First of all they have a higher trade in value. I had a 95 Chevy Suburban with 198,000 miles on it. It was still running great but wanted to upgrade. Traded it in, got $5,000 out of it .(and this is wholesale / dealer price) Now I have a 02 Suburban. They require little care, make sure to have any vehicle serviced regularly and they will last forever. I'm not saying they don't ever have problems but, when they do it is easy & cheaper to get parts and to find someone to work on them. Ford parts are, most of the time, higher. Nissan parts are harder to find & cost more.

Depends what you want. For price Ford cost less. for good mileage Nissan and over all for best Chevy. Just look at for sale ads for use and see how many Chevy there is. Less than the other two.

I am a firm believer in PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE, if you perform the regularly scheduled maintenance as described in the owners manual you can run one brand of vehicle just as long as the other. I have owned many different brands over the years and if taken care of they will all last. My fleet of farm tractors had over 25,000 hours on them when I traded them off. My vehicles typically are sold after they reach the 250,000 mark. I am convinced it is because I repair what is needed when it is needed. If I ding a fender I repair it. I get an oil leak I fix it. Just my opinion but I have found my cost per mile sure is cheep if I turn them at over 250,000 miles and they still look good. The will have a fairly good resale value as well. Good luck.

depends on the model , and what you are looking for. BMW 3 series is a fine car , but worthless for hauling lumber. And most dates would prefer you not to show up in a International Harvester truck . So if depends on what your doing. Car Volkswagen Jetta , Truck , Chevy S10 with a v8 ......Oh yea that's fine riding.....

Yes, it does depend on the type of car you are talking about. Me personally don't like american made cars, so i would go with nissan.
