Its not a fee to get a driver license, and its not a fine. (both of which would not be allowed as deduction)
Its basically a state tax on the number of points you have gotten. So would it be deductible as an "other tax"?

I have one job, and one W2. But my tax guy is helping me get a Schedule C so that I can do sidework.

My wife had three W2 forms and we both filed on the same day with the same guy. She got her state and fed return within 5 days and we both have direct dep into the same account.

Does the Schedule C slow mine down? or is there another step Im missing?

I have a large number of deductions because of a home business, so maybe I won't be paying taxes on it. I did put away enough $$ to cover the 28% if I get hit. Should I worry about it or let the IRS find it and send me a bill?

When you file tax's do you report the current or prior year? Like I know taxes are due on April 17? or something like that. So does that I mean I file for last year or this year (2007). I'm 17 years old and would like to know. Also if you didn't make any money do you have to file tax's?

Thank you 4 help

I went through a really bad divorce in 02, and I lost everything, my child support is nearly 50% of my income, and im barley scrapin by. I stuck my head in the sand financially, and i guess emotionally for a few years, and just sort of "hid" from responsibilities other than keeping sheltered, fed, and supporting my expensive ex-wife. I have paid taxes, but I havent filed in three years! What do I do? am i in allot of trouble?

I worked for this construction man who run his own business. He paid for the work I done by house, or per square foot with either cash or check. I worked for him about 2 months. Eventhough he didn't pay me everything that I worked for, I asked him that he will claim the money for tax, and he say no. I want to claim these money and file tax. Can I do so, if yes, can i file it without form 1099-MISC? AND what schedule or form i need to claim this income?
