As with all jobs: It all depends on how good you are.

The VAST majority of people who want to be models will NOT make much money, if at all. So called "super-models" make millions per year, but they represent less than 1% of all models.

In economics and accounting jobs like this have what is called a "low barrier to entry", that is it takes nothing for ANYBODY to get into the job, other than a desire to do so. This means there is a LOT of competition for the few really good jobs. Your chances of being "the one" are pretty remote.

That is not to say you should not follow your dreams. Go for it, maybe you will be fantastic at it, but also be realistic about your chances and have a good back up plan if it doesn't pay what you want.

Most models make about what actors do , less than $5000 a year . They collect unemployment though , and work at restaurants between gigs, so that income counts too.
But mostly , they are in a low income tax bracket and don't have to pay much in taxes.

Somewhere between zero and 35%, depending on your income. The profession where you make the income doesn't matter, it's how much you make.
