As of the end of December 2006, I got a new job and worked a total of three days before the end of the year. I know that my current company has mailed out all W2s as of 1/30/07 and I have yet to receive mine. I expect that over those three days worked, I made less than $500. Would they even have sent me a W2? Does tax law require me to file for this small of an amount? Obviously, I can ask my employer tomorrow, but I had hoped to find some answers today so I can finish my taxes.. Any ideas?

I am a Mexican Citizen, living in Mexico. Part of my job involves assisting Mexican commercial vehicle operators get all of their USDot and FMCSA paperwork and certifications in check so they can cross the border and transport goods. For this service I charge my respective administrative fees.

I have already checked with my Mexican accountant and he says that all US services have to be reported US side and any taxes applicable must be paid there.

I work out of Monterrey, Mexico and all of my dealings are done through Texas border cities.

Any assistance?
