I have a business in NJ and would like to start selling cigarettes. I have three questions though:
1) How do I get started? What licenses do I need to obtain, etc.?
2) How/where do I acquire the inventory?
3) Is it legal and profitable to buy cigarettes in one state and resell them in another?

Thank you very much for your help.

I would like to start with about 1000 birds and increase to about 10000 later though gradually. I wanted to start off with point of lay birds but was advised to raise my own by buying day old chicks and rasing them to point of lay so i would be sure of the source of the chicks. I've always had an interest in poultry farming and would like to start off before the end of the year. Ild like it if information on costing, care of the chicks/chickens; housing and up till marketing could be provided. I'ld also like to mill my own feed to further reduce cost and would like all the information I can get in order to achieve this. What should the bird houses look like? Where can I source land for such a venture somewhere in Lagos?.In summary, i need information or articles about all what i've described and costing. Thanks.

but im thinking of doing a home course soon to also be a fitness instructor as i enjoy excercising and go to the gym 3-4 times a week as well as a lot of walking.

after doing my course i will be looking in to being self employed as well as still working in the financial sector. i;m very business minded and would thrive off doing something like this as i dont feel im in it for the money...that is a perk but im in it as i want to help people change their lifestyles like i managed to.

any one out there who does this too and what do you have to say?

I am an ex-Human Resources Manager and I stopped working to be home with my son. I am interested in developing a small business. Here's where I'd like your advice...

I would like to cater my business to help the EMPLOYEES of workplaces, not the employer.

The cost of the advertisement I want to pursue is an insert and I have a full page to work with. It's very expensive, so I'm ready to sponge up ideas.

I don't want my little pursuit to become known by the community as some "evil" company that helps out the troublemaker employees, because that is not my intent. I really want to help advise employees of their rights, particularly when they are being violated...as I have seen as an HR Manager.

See my dilemna? Any thoughts on how to delicately approach this new marketing initiative without offending or putting question marks in the minds of local employers?

I have to create a website for a town's chamber of commerce. It needs to have a very professional look and there are quite a few pages to it. I was wondering what would be a fair price to charge? Hourly or total would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am the co-owner of a shop in Oregon. A customer okay-ed the repairs and maintenance on her vehicle. When time came to pay, she said that she needed to run to the bank to get money to pay bill... we were busy so manager let her take her car to do so...(she was a mother of a friend, so we thought it would be alright..stupid, I know now!!!) she takes off and it's been three months since. we put a mechanic's lien on her car, but she refuses to give us the vehicle. What can we do to get the car in our possesion(besides hiring an expensive repo guy? the car isn't worth that much..)???
