I have been asked by an acquaintance to partner with them in starting a new business. This person needs a partner in order to procure funds. I am not being asked to invest any of my own money, I am only needed as a backing partner in order for the business to gain financial need and get started. Which type of partnership would offer the most advantages in this situation? What would be the most secure?

I'm considering starting my own online store using drop shipping, and I'm in the process of deciding what kind of companies and products to work with and I'd like some ideas and suggestions on what you think is a good seller on the internet, or what have you bought or usually buy online, what do people would rather buy online than in an ordinary retail store? If so, what was the result? We're a non-profit and were hit with a $5,000 invoice for the unauthorized use (by a web developer who designed our site several years ago) of their copyrighted images. We were wondering what we could reasonably expect to settle for on this $5,000 fine. We're willing to pay, but hope to achieve a more reasonable amount and were hoping to rely on what others have experienced... thanks!

I have a book that I need to get printed. I only want like 10 copies of it, but I want it done nicely (hardcover, perfect bound or softcover, perfect bound.)

Do you know of any local companies or reliable web based businesses who can do this for me for a reasonable price? I know it isn't cheap, just something reasonable :-)

Hi all and thank you in advance for your replies. I have a business idea that I believe it will work I just dont know how to start. I would like to create and introduce my own product to food markets. I would like to target every grocery store out there and sell my own brand of food at least in my area. the product is a mix in a box and I dont have a food factory. how do you think I should start ? I dont have the product in a package. that 's another thing . does it need to be inspected before it gets packged? i am sure it should...who does it?

Will be preparing the food at home and taking it to local businesses for breakfast and lunches.
Starting small and simple- nothing fancy- just my husband and myself. Kind of like what Paul Dean on Food Network did years ago, but not looking to becoming anything but to be able in helping make a living in this crazy world we live in today....
