I like my job but I really enjoy cooking BBQ and have always thought about owning my own restaurant. They say restaurants are the hardest market to break into but I think in the south BBQ is the exception. If you have a tasty product (which I think I do) you'll get your share of the business.

My Business partner and I own a plumbing company in Northern Virginia. We just started as a partnership in January 2007 and self financed a work van and all the equipment to get us up and running. However to be able to compete with the big boys we need a little more capital to do more. We both have had financial problems in the past 1 1/2 for me and over 5 yrs for him. Will anybody loan us money with a checked financial past?

I'm interested in eventually having an actual storefront, but can't afford the overhead until I'm sure the business is going to take off, so I thought I would start selling online.

I am an HR/Marketing assistant for an accessories company and need people to fill retail sales associate and manager positions mostly along the eastern coast. We like to target college kids for these jobs but posting with career services only takes you so far. Myspace has also been a bust because you have to wade through alot of trash.

I have a small company that runs vocational guidance workshops. I'm 31 years old and some friends and friends of friends and family often show interest in participating. I do not charge close friends and family besides the expenditures coverage but I'm really considering what charging policy I should have with people like this girl who's been dating my semi-close friend for 2 months, and my sister's best friend brother etc. Could you offer some advice for both how much and how to present it? thanks!

I am a teen with very expensive taste, and recently discovered the online super-warehouse we like to call eBay. I was planning on buying a Mac Mini and a monitor off them, but the bids keep going up! To keep up, I tried to make money with everything from lemonade to a web designer. Nothing worked! I am THINKING that eBay is an easy tool to use to make some money. I understand that I am under 18, but I'm sure my parents would be happy to help me make some extra money. I am just wasting my time, or should I keep going with this? Thanks so much! This is really appreciated.
