I would like to make some additional income working from home. Does anyone have a good part-time job that they do from their home that doesn't involve prostitution, illegal drugs, or eBay?

Hi

I wish to propose a buy-out of my business partner and therefore need to value the company, or his 40% share.

I cannot afford solicitors and shouldn't need them as there is not a huge amount of money involved.

It is a small limited company, a service and content provider in the media industry. The company has some assets, both tangible (about £10K) and intangible, and various debts (about £5K). There are no employees and seldom profits and turnover is less than £50K.

I would like any advice (or formulae) on valuing the company for a buy-out.

I am considering buying out my business partner in my limited company. I own 60%, he owns 40%.

However, he is not replying to my messages - he is a very slow unreliable and somewhat lazy person - which is why I want to buy him out.

I can't wait any longer for him to drag his heels as I need to get on with my work and resolve the situation.

My question is - can I forcibly buy him out under UK law?

I just started a DBA(doing business as, or certificate of assumed name) in the state of Minnesota. Do I have to have both a TIN and EIN or just one or another ?Which one do I have to have if I don't need both? My business is a horse boarding facility that boards horses. I charge extra for services like bathing, walking, etc. Do I have to charge sales tax for these, or what? What do I need to stay legal and safe? I have boarding contracts and liability forms. HELP!

I want him out of my limited company and as it is only a small company I cannot afford solicitors. I was hoping someone would be able to help me who knew about the law in the UK.

I have repeatedly contacted him about this but he is so lazy and unreliable he can't even reply to my messages - what can I do? He owns a 40% stake. Ideally I do not want to fall out with anyone, I just want my company back so I can get on with my work.

I’m trying to think of a company name and could use some help….
I document (create workflows) and analyze business processes to optimize efficiency.
What do you think of ‘Diedrich Analytics’? (Diedrich = my last name)
What is an adjective to describe the best means to an end in terms of efficiency, when referring to a single process? What is an adjective to describe interrelated activities brought together for the purpose of mapping and analyzing them? Or, a title for ‘the more you know, the better your business’….thanks

I want to start an organization for horses. It will involve caring for horses, both surrendered and rescued, and the resale or adoption of said horses, once they are back to health. The people who will be working at this organization will be volunteers and some will be paid by the hour. What kind of business should I file under, non-profit or profit? Where can I get these forms to file? What forms do I need? What are the things I need in order to start a non-profit or profitable business? How do I get the name of the business filed and so on? Do I need a tax identification number? I know all about horses and have been brought up around them. I know how much work they are, and I know how much hard work keeping a business running is, as my parents have a small business. There is a local animal shelter about 12 miles from me, is it possible to join up with them to start a horse part of the organization so I don't have to start a non-profit? What are all the options?
